Bill is a true "International" with a unique life, leadership and organizational background. He is a proven change agent and catalyst for strategic alliances, with a passion to strengthen top executives and teams helping them reach full potential and outstanding results.


Bill Frisby - Chief Executive Officer

As the Founder and CEO of Strengthening Leaders, with over 30 years of international corporate and non-profit leadership experience, Bill strengthens top leaders in the public and private sectors as an executive mentor, organizational change consultant, and leadership trainer. Having lived in several countries and worked with leaders and organizations in over 60 nations Bill has learned how to effectively integrate these proven practices with a well defined inter-cultural intelligence while helping leaders acheive top organizational performance and results.

Bill’s professional life has been dedicated to leadership and organizational development, starting as VP and member of the Board of Directors of his family’s business while earning a Business Administration / Marketing degree from the University of Kentucky.  Graduation was followed by 10 years in Sales and Marketing with two Fortune 500 companies, Cities Service Company and Interface Inc.
 

After graduate school at Biola University majoring in Theology and Inter-Cultural Studies Bill joined AFC International in 1987 and moved to the Fiji Islands to become the acting principal of their Fiji College. Returning to the USA, he served AFC International until 1996 as the US Coordinator and a member of the Board of Directors.   

In 1989 Bill was ordained at First Baptist Church of Atlanta by Dr. Charles Stanley and the FBA ministry team.  In 1996 he joined Operation Mobilization (OM-USA) as VP responsible for Communications and Marketing, as well as for establishing a network of US Regional Representatives.  That same year he joined the training team of the Leadership Matters Course (LMC) and the International Training Alliance (ITA), where he continues to serve today, providing leadership training for international organizations including OM, Wycliffe Bible Translators, CMA, World Horizons and others.  

In 1999 Bill and his family moved on-board OM’s ship the MV Logos II with an international crew representing 40 nations.  For two years he led the training, personal and leadership development, and internal program of the ship.  In 2001 he and his family relocated to the Italian Alps where he served as an Elder/Pastor of a local church, led a multi-national OM team, and continued to work in Italy and internationally as a executive mentor, trainer and organizational consultant.   

In 2005 Bill joined OM's International Coordinating Team (ICT) focusing on global leadership and organizational development.  He and his wife Lisa, with their children Litia and Hudson returned to the USA from Italy and now reside in the Atlanta, GA area.  Bill continues to assist in the strategic development of leaders throughout OM.

Bill is an enthusiastic advocate and participant in lifelong learning.  He especially values his unique relationship with several of his life mentors including Alan Gardner of AFC International and master consultant Bobb Biehl, as well as his strategic alliance with KnowledgeWorkx Ltd. in the United Arab Emirates.
